Composer and sound artist, Lives in Jerusalem, Israel.
Her compositions and sound installations were performed and presented in Israel and abroad including four fully staged chamber operas. Some of her compositions were performed in the Sonic Circuits Festival for Electronic Music of the American Composers Forum.
Kiki Keren-Huss has a long- standing interest in music- theater and opera. She works with electronic and electroacoustic music using sound as a way to draw and create an inner environment out of everyday sounds, voices, texts etc. working often in collaboration with visual artists and dancers. Kiki Keren-Huss participated in many sound and music and women in music conferences in Israel an abroad including “Sounding out 4 & 5.
Kiki Keren-Huss is the head of the advanced studies program in experimental music & sound art in the Musrara School for Photography New Media New Music and Phototherapy in Jerusalem where she also teaches composition and collaborative projects in the department of New Music.
Kiki Keren-Huss is holding a residency as a visiting scholar/composer and a Schusterman Foundation Fellow at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA.
